About me

Web developer with a builder’s mindset.

I like taking an idea and turning it into something real and live on the web — then making it faster, cleaner and easier to find.

I’m Philips Bek, a web and WordPress developer based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. My background is in Information Technology, with a degree focused on computer networking and security — which gives me a solid, practical understanding of how the web actually works underneath the design.

Day to day, I build responsive websites and online stores, handle the hosting, domains and DNS behind them, and tune everything for SEO and speed. I’m genuinely curious about AI and automation, and I fold those tools into my workflow to move faster without cutting corners on quality. I care about clean work, honest communication and shipping things that actually launch.

Outside of client work, I like experimenting with new tools — chatbots, automation platforms and AI-assisted coding — to see where they genuinely make a difference and where a human still needs to steer.

Where I’ve worked

A path from testing and learning as an intern to owning complete website builds and AI automation.

  1. Web / WordPress Developer

    PNH Malaysia
    2025 – 2026

    Own the full website workflow end to end — from first build to launch — using WordPress and AI-assisted coding, including hosting setup, domain purchase and DNS management.

    • Delivered complete sites from concept through to a live, launched website.
    • Handled hosting, domain registration and DNS configuration for each project.
    • Tuned websites with optimization plugins and tools for stronger SEO and crawlability.

  2. AI Chatbot Developer

    Cyberwolves
    2024 – 2025

    Built WhatsApp AI chatbots using Make.com, connecting messaging flows to data and automation tools.

    • Designed and built WhatsApp AI chatbot flows with Make.com.
    • Worked with n8n and Airtable to route data and automate responses.
    • Combined several tools into practical, working automation for real use cases.

  3. Web Developer Intern

    Double Dot
    2022 – 2023

    Developed and tested websites alongside the team, contributing to builds and running manual testing.

    • Built and iterated on client websites with the development team.
    • Ran manual testing to catch issues before release.
    • Collaborated closely with teammates across the build process.
